Tambi, maarufu kama spaghetti kinaaminika kuwa chakula chenye asili ya kiitaliano. Iki ni moja ya chakula kinachopendelewa na watu wengi ukanda wa Tanzania visiwani na pia Tanzania Bara hasa wakati wamfungo. Pia ni chakula ambacho mabachela wengi hukipendelea kutokana na wepesii wake wa kuandaa. Preparing spaghetti

Fill a large pot with six quarts of water. Bring to a boil. Add salt. Be generous, this salt seasons the pasta as it cooks and soaks into the noodles.

Mapishi Mazuri Ya Tambi

Add the dried pasta. Stir until the water return to a boil. Set a timer for one minute less than recommended in the package directions. Test doneness at this point. If you like your pasta very firm (al dente) or you are going to simmer for a while in sauce, check it and remove it even earlier.

Now, strain and cool briefly, but do not rinse. Rinse removing the starch that helps the sauce adhere to the pasta. Instead, Toss in olive oil instead.

When ready to use, you can add to warm sauce if you prefer to, toss and finish cooking, or chill for later use.
